I started a Podcast
If you didn’t know it yet, I started a podcast back in January.
The first episode dropped January 22nd and a new episode releases every Monday for listening pleasure.
The podcast is titled Sex and Money with Jess and can be found on all podcast platforms, but you can jump here and find out all the details.
One of the many reasons I started this podcast was to obviously talk more about sex and money, but it was also to create normal conversation around both topics. We live in a world that likes to shy away from talking about these things. Yet, finances and sex are two of the most common parts of being a human, and being a human in partnership.
When the world puts energy into making sure neither of these things are talked about it can leave people feeling lost, confused, and uncertain about how to navigate those worlds.
How are you supposed to go from hearing sex is bad to it magically being good on your wedding night?
How are you supposed to leave college in student loan debt, find a job, and pay for a roof over your head + manage paying back the loan company, all while enjoying life?
How do you discover what your body likes, or what your partner likes, if you can’t find the words to describe your feelings.
Creating a foundation on which to build your life upon is crucial. You don’t create success overnight. Instead you create it taking things one day at a time, making small improvements, and revisiting your finances, or checking in with your body, as you progress forward.
I would truly love to see a world where everyone was thriving in their financial and sexual lives. Embracing the highs and lows. Nurturing the pain and celebrating the wins. Learning from mistakes and our pasts in search of a better tomorrow.
You aren’t asking for too much if a brighter future is what you are seeking. In fact, I would say that you fit right in. Each and every one of us has a desire for more, and if the more you are after is in the form of sex, money, or both, then please give my podcast a listen.
Sex and Money with Jess is meant for you. It’s meant for the person who wants different, isn’t sure where to start, and is ready to make a change in their life.
Love always,
Jess
